7/3/2010 - Thank you for your interest in the University of Washington's new Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF). After an unprecedented student-led campaign, the CSF was awarded $339,805 for it's first year! This marks a substantial investment by students in a greener, more sustainable campus.

Once CSF officially begins its operations in Autumn quarter, we'll have a new website and a lot more information for you. In the meantime, there are dozens of ways you can get involved, including:

SERVING ON THE STUDENT COMMITTEE!
CSF is led by a committee of seven students--four appointed by ASUW, 2 by GPSS, and one by the Environmental Stewardship Advisory Committee. We need creative, committed people that are ready to dedicate some real time to making CSF a success. Contact your ASUW Vice President or GPSS Vice President for more information.

PROPOSING A PROJECT!
CSF funds projects that reduce the University's environmental impact, promote student involvement, and educate the campus community. We need your ideas to create a sustainable campus! Details on how to apply for funds will be available in Autumn Quarter.

VOLUNTEERING!
CSF became a reality because dozens of students spent more than a thousand volunteer hours make it so. We still need your support. There are plenty of opportunities to be involved--from one-time event help to a longer-term internship. We'll have more information about specific possibilities in Autumn.

5/19/2010 - The CSF was allotted with $339,805 from the SAF Committee! The next few months will be spent starting up the program getting ready for the fall. Look for updates on how to get involved in the near future.

3/31/2010 - Thanks to all the hard work of the CSF volunteers we collected over 5,500 signatures of support and 53 endorsements from student organizations during winter quarter! All of our information has been submitted to the SAF committee who will decide on funding in May.

3/3/2010 - ASUW senate and GPSS have officially passed legislation supporting the creation of the CSF!

2/24/2010 - Come show your support of the CSF during 2nd readings of the CSF legislation in ASUW senate at 5pm Tuesday in HUB 310.

2/23/2010 - We now have over 3,000 signatures of support! If you haven't yet sign the petition here.

2/7/2010 - Monday, February 8th's meeting room has changed to HUB room 200A.

1/26/2010 - Sign for your support of the CSF here! The campaign is in full swing and we need your help. Get involved!

1/24/2010 - We've got over 1,100 signatures and counting.

1/6/2010 - Want to hear more about the CSF? Ask questions? Raise concerns? Please come to the public forum on Tuesday, January 12th at 4PM in HUB Room 200AB.
